If you’re a dedicated PC tech enthusiast then you already know that the last few months of the year are when all the best hardware releases are and, despite everything going on this year, 2020 is no different. Intel and Nvidia have already released their latest-gen products with the 10th series CPUs from Intel and the 30-series GPUs from Nvidia already on shelves (mostly). And now, Team Red is getting in on the action with their latest CPU and GPU lineups, the 5000 series and 6000 series respectfully.
The new AMD 6000-series of GPUs are set to go head to head with the Nvidia 30-series that launched recently. We know they will be releasing several GPUs as part of this new lineup, and at the lower end of the spectrum is the 6700 series; the RX 6700 and RX 6700XT.
Once the new GPUs land online, we’ll be adding all the links you need to buy them right here.

While the 6700 series will be officially revealed alongside the 6800 series and 6900XT, these lower-end GPUs aren’t set to release until January 2021 according to recent reports. But, we do have a bit of insight into what’s inside these graphics cards. The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT with the full Navi 22 XT GPU SKU is expected to feature 40 Compute Units or 2560 stream processors while the Radeon RX 6700 with the Navi 22 XL GPU SKU is expected to feature a cut-down configuration. The graphics card will feature a 12 GB GDDR6 memory buffer along with a 192-bit bus interface. AMD will most likely use 16 Gbps dies which would net a total bandwidth of 384 GB/s for the cards. The 6700 is a little more elusive. While we know it will be a dual-fan configuration, the specs are a little on the light side.
