Expected retailers for AMD Radeon RX 7800

AMD Radeon cards have been rising in popularity and performance. Offering a good choice for your next best graphics cards, and it is expected from this generation as well. As we look the where to buy the RX 7800, and what retailers you can expect the GPU will be sold at.

RDNA 3’s announcement omitted the RX 7800, and with subsequent releases there hasn’t been much info on the card. We have to wait a bit longer for this mid-tier card. As although the RX 7600 has been released, there is still nothing on the mid-range options. We have a look at when we might see this option instead.

RX 7800 release date window

Initial predictions for the release date expected the series of cards to launch between October and mid-November. But that info was for the release of the top-spec of RDNA 3 cards. With the RX 7900 XTX and XT, the mid-range selection has been left behind and as such we won’t have the cards for some time yet. As we would expect a later release for them potentially in the latter half of 2023.

There are some recent rumors suggesting that the Navi 32 selection that might be featured in the RX 7800 is expected in September of 2023. Since it is expected that these cards could be announced at Gamescom which is at the end of August.

RX 7800 price prediction

For the price, we speculate from previous models and see what to expect. As it is a fluid spec that is likely to change right until the release of the card. We expect the RX 7800 to cost in the range of $500-600 USD. As the 6800 had an MSRP of $579 USD and so we do expect some cost inflation above that base price.
