AMD recently announced the new “non-X” Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. This announcement was made at CES 2023, and since then, the web has been a buzz with the prospect of newer, more efficient Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. But if you want to pick up your very own, you have to know where to buy AMD Ryzen 7 7700.

The new Ryzen 7000 “none-X” CPUs look incredibly close to their “X” equipped counterparts, the only main differences being the reduced clock speeds and the massively lower TDP ratings. Making the new CPUs ideal for smaller form factor builds, as they require less cooling.

Ryzen 7 7700 non-X: Specs
The specifications for the AMD Ryzen 7 7700 are as follows:
- Architecture: Zen 4
- Core count: 8
- Thread count: 16
- Base speed: 3.8GHz
- Boost speed: 5.3GHz
- Cache: 32MB
- TDP 65W
As you can see, the specifications are similar to the 7700X, with just the lesser clock speeds on both the base and boost ends, and the much lower TDP. The TDP stands at 65W, pretty good compared to the larger 105W of the 7700X.
Ryzen 7 7700 launch date
The launch date for the Ryzen 7 7700 is the 10th of January 2023.
