Update – 17/03/2021 – Intel Has officially announced the Intel 11th Gen processors, more specifically the i5 SKUs. The 11600 and 11600K are set to be released on the 30th of March. We see 6 cores and 12 threads as expected and retailers in the UK and US are now starting to show pricing and pre order options for the Intel 11th Gen i5 SKUs.
The Intel Core i5-XX600 has always been the perfect balance of performance and value in the past. With this in mind, the i5-11600 & 11600K could be crucial SKUs in the Rocket Lake line up, offering gamers multitasking flexibility and fast single-core performance. Retailers are now starting to show prices and pre order options for the i5-11600 and K variants, with the unlocked CPU going to cost just under $300, priced similarly to the AMD equivalent, while the locked variant will retail for around $220.
