Where To Buy The Xbox Lunar Shift Special Edition Controller

Xbox has officially stated that the controller is available both on Xbox.com and in local retailers, but as of the time of writing this, there’s nothing on major retailers. We expect it to be available at the following places, though:
Since the controller is specifically labeled as a special edition controller, it’ll likely not be available for very long, so it’s worth snapping up as soon as you can or you’ll face the FOMO of not having the new cool technology. The controller has an MSRP of $69.99 USD, and is unlikely to see a reduction in price. In fact, if you wait long enough you’ll probably end up having to sell a kidney just to be able to buy one due to scarcity.
Why Is The Controller Special?
What makes the Xbox Lunar Shift Special Edition Controller so special is that the color of the controller changes depending on the position of the light. If you can position the controller just right it’ll flicker between silver to gold, and also has rubberized gray and black grips. There’s even a textured grip on the bumpers, meaning you’ll be able to get instantly comfortable while playing your favorite games.

Is It Worth It?
It really depends. If you’re happy with your current Xbox controller and don’t play multiplayer games then probably not, but if you’re looking for something new, it might just float your boat. Of course, if you have the money you could probably just get an Xbox Elite Controller…
