Nothing official has been stated by Xiaomi as to the release date of the upcoming phone, however yer boy Digital Chat Station, a Weibo leaker with some credibility, has stated that he believes the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 release date will land at a similar time in the year to the preceding model (the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 in case you didn’t guess).
This would point to a possible August 2023 Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 release date, or at the very least a Q3 2023 release.

Details of the new phone are scarce, but between Digital Chat Station and our own estimates, plus the existing specs of the previous model in the series, the following Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 specifications seem likely:

- Display: HDR10+ OLED display or better
- Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (up to 2.6 GHz clock speed).
- RAM: up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM
- Storage: up to 1TB UFS 4.0
- Camera: largely unknown, but should include periscope zoom camera
- Battery: unknown (but capable of wireless charging)
- OS: Android 13
- IP Rating: IP68 dust and water resistant
- Dimensions: unknown, but thought to be thinner than the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 (i.e. <11.2mm when folded or <5.4 mm when unfolded)
- Weight: lighter than the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 (i.e. <262g)
- Ports: USB 3.2 USB-C port for charging
