Genshin Impact patch 2.5 is going live on 15th February with the Spiral Abyss rotation, a brand-new character, and more. In the new spiral abyss opponents take Electro-Charged DMG, their Electro RES decreases by 10% for 10s. This change is to facilitate Yae Miko and give her a power boost for players who want to try her out in the new patch.

What to Expect From Genshin Impact Patch 2.5?

Genshin Impact will come with a host of events including Hayakunin Ikki, where players will get to try out characters that they do not own. The fan-favorite event will be accompanied by an Enkanomiya exploration event featuring unique mechanics and new enemies. Yae Miko is also coming to the game. She is an Electro Catalyst user who looks like a great burst DPS unit. Players will get to try her out in the Trial event as well as in her story quest which will go live with patch 2.5.

Genshin Impact Patch 2.5 Patch Notes

Here are the highlights of the new update:

  • The appearances of the NPCs Jean, Amber, Rosaria, and Mona will be adjusted to the Alternate Outfits in Version 2.5 and in the quests of previous versions.
  • Removes cutscenes from previous events to reduce the size of the client.
  • Starting from Version 2.5, the bitrate for new cutscenes on mobile will be adjusted to 25,000 kbps to streamline client size.
