Save £50 on these ASUS ROG OLED monitors
The following ASUS ROG OLED monitors are all top-notch displays, each covering different sizes, refresh rates, and price points, and you can save £50 off them when you utilize the Rate Your Gear discount. Below we’ve summarised the main features of each to help you make your decision.
ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG (240Hz, QHD, 27”)
The ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG is one of the best monitors we reviewed in 2024, scoring 5/5. This 27-inch gaming-focused display has a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 240Hz max refresh rate, plus anti-flicker features. It has a high peak brightness, a glossy screen, and great color replication, plus the superb response time you’d expect from an OLED panel, It’s the ultimate gaming OLED at this screen size.
ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM (240Hz, QHD, 27”)
Moving onto the Swift monitors, the Swift OLED PG27AQDM is similar in terms of its headline specs to the above Strix OLED XG27AQDMG – both have a 27” size screen, 1440p resolution, and 240Hz maximum refresh rate. The main differences are that it has a matte finish (preferable for those who like to minimize screen glare), a slightly lower brightness, and a narrower color gamut in HDR mode. The stand is also a different tripod design, rather than the square-base stand on the Strix.
ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP (480Hz, QHD, 27”)
The PG27AQDP is very similar to the PG27AQDM but has one major difference: the maximum refresh rate tops out at a massive 480Hz, which is one of the highest of any monitor on the market. Chances are this is beyond the needs of the average gamer, however, if you’re into competitive gameplay in fast-paced shooters, this will definitely give you an edge. Besides this, it’s a tad brighter than the PG27AQDM, plus has HDMI 2.1 support.
ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM & PG32UCDP (240Hz, UHD, 32”)
We’ve bundled these two monitors together because they are very similar: both 32-inch displays with 4K resolution, the primary differences are that the PG32UCDM has a WOLED glossy panel and better color replication in HDR mode, whereas the PG32UCDP has a slightly matte QD-OLED panel which gives better text clarity. Both screens have a 240Hz refresh rate at 4K, although the PG32UCDP does let you turn the resolution down to 1080p where it can reach 480Hz, should you wish to use this for competitive gaming.
ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM (240Hz, Ultrawide, 34”)
The ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM is a curved ultrawide gaming monitor with an 800R curvature. This 34-inch display has a 3440 x 1440 resolution and 240Hz maximum fresh rate, and is ideal if you’re looking to maximize your immersion whilst gaming. It has the same fantastic response times and contrast ratio as the above monitors in SDR scenarios, plus comes with VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black compliance.
