Just one week on from its launch on Steam, Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel now has some numbers behind it to back up its super-impressive launch.

We knew things were going well for the game simply down to the huge number of visitors our Yu-Gi-Oh pages have been getting daily but now the numbers are out and with over four million downloads it was always going to be good.

After peaking in third place on Steam’s concurrent player count, the game now sits fourth, but still above Apex Legends and GTA V.

This is an incredible achievement and shows it is possible for what many would perhaps consider a niche title to break into the mainstream and challenge the big guns.

The sheer amount of content within the game seems to have captured the player base’s imagination and it’s hard to see it just falling away as so happens when a game lands big.

How many players does Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel have?

The concurrent players are also hitting the spot for Konami too with 210,852 being the magic number and today’s player count peaking at 226,802.

Following on from this successful PC launch, it’s also safe to say that things are going to get brighter still for Yu-Go-Oh Master Duel with the roll-out of the iOS and Android versions today in select countries with more to follow

We have a full review from our very on Yu-Gi-Oh master Connor coming up soon, but in the meantime, if you have found yourself hooked, check out his Tier List for the game
