Overwatch 2 is launching on October 4 but hype is already building fast. Especially when it comes to new heroes coming to the game.

NOW READ: The Overwatch 2 beta has been extended

We already reported that the Overwatch 2 beta was extended, but now focus is on what new heroes we’ll see in the game.

So without further delay, here’s who we know will be making an appearance in the new game.

Will Overwatch 2 have new heroes?

Yes, we know for certain there will be three new heroes, with two – Soujorn and Junker Queen already released. We can expect one, or maybe two more to follow in the coming weeks or months.

Soujorn

Sojourn has been a hit with players in the beta, thank to her Railgun and Sliding capability.

Her railgun can be charged to deal damage to multiple enemies, while a Disruptor shot creates a field that slows enemies down, making them easier to kill.

Finally, Overclock, allows her to charge her railgun and fire several energy beams in rapid fire.

Junker Queen

The Junker Queen is going to be a playable hero Overwatch 2.

A close ranged specialist, her weapons are designed to apply wounds that cause enemies to slowly drain health. Brutal.

The Queen, as she’s known, was originally a fighter and champion in the Scrapyard – so she’s perfect for players who like to get up close and personal.

Her ability to heal is directed related to the wounds she inflicts – she essentially feeds off damage,

We also know there are two more heroes coming – a Tank Hero and a Support role hero. However, we don’t know anything about them just yet. Well be keeping our eyes peeled, though.
