Polar Star Stats

genshin polar star stats

As of the current beta, Polar Star starts with 46 Base ATK and a 7.2% CRIT Rate substat. At Level 90, these stats become 608 Base ATK and 33.1% CRIT Rate, giving it a Base ATK on par with that of Thundering Pulse, Amos’ Bow and Elegy for the End, and therefore the second highest Base ATK of any Bow in Genshin Impact.

The in-game weapon effect description:

Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack of Byakuya Kyousei will be gained for 12s. When 1/2/3/4 stacks of Byakuya Kyousei are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Byakuya Kyousei created by the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst will be counted independently of the others.

Polar Star Refinement

In Genshin Impact, you can Refine a weapon by feeding it an identical weapon to itself, which increases some of the weapon’s effects in turn. With each Refinement of the Polar Star, the Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG bonus is further increased, as is the ATK bonus gained when 1/2/3/4 stacks of Byakuya Kyousei are present, turning this bow into a very deadly weapon.

Best Characters to use Polar Star in Genshin Impact

This Bow is quite a good all-rounder, with its passive skill being beneficial to any character who can deal consistent DMG or deal high DMG with their Elemental Skill or Burst. Top contenders include Tartaglia, Ganyu, Yoimiya and Fischl, but even characters such as Venti, Kujou Sara, Amber and Aloy can make use of its passive skill.
