The Sims 4 Spa Day is a game pack originally released in 2015 and Sims players have been pleasantly surprised to see it has gotten a new update! Similarly with all Sims Game Packs, this one was no different; adding new furniture, apparel, accessories and more. Even though it was the second Game Pack for the Sims 4 after Outdoor Retreat and wasn’t one of the most popular ones, possibly why it’s getting some attention now!

New Features in The Sims 4 Spa Day Refresh

Of course, the expansion pack will include all of the features that the base pack has, including certain furniture, locations, skills and activities.

However, the refresh has added a plethora of additional features including:

  • Pampering sims with facial masks.
  • Manicures and pedicures, new nail colors, designs and shapes.
  • The Inner Peace aspiration
  • The High Maintenance trait
  • Kids can participate in Wellness activities, yoga and meditation.
  • Jobs as Zen Guru or Self-Care Specialist.

With help from Sims 4 modder Ebonix!

In fact, veteran Sims modder, Danielle “EbonixSims” Udo has also contributed to the overall game with more diverse options for sims. Danielle now has official work in the core game, having helped design some of the content in the Spa Day update.

The Sims 4 Spa Day Refresh Release Date

The update will be live on September 7th. Players who already own the game pack will be entitled to a free update on the day for PC/Mac, Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5. Other players can buy the refreshed Spa Day game pack with all its new features at no additional cost.

Other Updates for Game Packs?

This update does however beg the question: will there be more?

To this, we’re quite certain there will be. A few of the game packs are a bit lacklustre and could do with some updating, as for which ones, we’ll be eagerly awaiting to hear!
