  • Step 3: Once you press them together, release them after 5 seconds. Or when the logo appears on the screen.
  • Step 4: You will notice the recovery mode option on the screen. You will have to navigate through the options with the volume down and up buttons.
  • Step 5: Click on the wipe data/factory reset option.
  • Step 6: Press the power button to confirm the reset.

Note: In both the above methods, once the reset has taken place, your device will not be registered to your Amazon account. You will have to register your account again.
