As Nvidia’s Computex highlights showed off, it has much to offer on the AI front and particularly for developers of games and software. One key feature is the character creator, so if you’re wondering how to access Nvidia Omniverse ACE, we have you covered.
If you’re unsure what Nvidia ACE is, it is part of the Omniverse program and is the Avatar Cloud Engine, a development in character NPC creation tools. It allows for AI creation of character creation, all they require is some background info, some story information, and details and ACE will fill in the rest. Creating animations for speech, and understanding speech given can also respond, which makes it more dynamic and unique without a script.
It utilizes a whole range of tools to achieve it and is a wide range of abilities to implement. And so looking to join in, here’s how.

Access to Nvidia Omniverse ACE early access
Currently, with no set release date, Nvidia has only got early access open to try and get in the queue and join in on the program. So if you’re happy to be a beta tester essentially and provide feedback then you can apply for it, here are the easy quick steps how.
- Firstly, you need to have an Nvidia Developer Account, if you have not got one yet you can register for it and get access to Nvidia’s SDKs and new tech.
- Once you have that setup, you can now apply for early access on the ACE page by filling in the request form. It has been rather popular and Nvidiai suggests it might be over two weeks for your application to be reviewed.
- Then you have to wait for your confirmation email. If you are found to be worthy you then get access to the Animation AI on Nvidia Launchpad.
- After that, you can finally download and install the program. Heading to the developer page, you can go to my programs and in the member, link find access to Nvidia ACE
Now with that, you will be ready to try out and play around with the next character creation for your programs. And joining the list of games already featuring some of Nvidia’s generative AI.
