It’ll come as no surprise to hear that the LG G1 OLED was one of the best TVs we’ve tested in some time. What will surprise you, however, is that Best Buy is listing the LG G1 OLED TV at a record-low price in an early Memorial Day deal. The TV which normally retails for $1,599 has been slashed to an enticing $1,399 – making it one of the best Memorial Day deals we’ve seen in some time.

Not only is the LG G1 OLED TV one of the best HDMI 2.1 TVs, but it’s also one of the best TVs for PS5, Xbox Series X, and the upcoming World Cup. Thanks to the Evo OLED panel technology at its core, the G1 Gallery-style TV offers up superb picture quality and color accuracy – not to mention perfect blacks, infinite contrast ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Easily one of the best OLED TVs of 2021, packed with features and high-end specifications. The Gallery-esque display won several awards after its release last year and it’s easy to see why. The G1 comes with the brand’s Evo OLED panel, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDMI 2.1 support for driving 4K@120Hz gameplay with next-gen consoles.

The Evo OLED panel is LG’s premium OLED option, delivering a far higher peak brightness than the generic WOLED technology used in the likes of the LG C1. Additionally, the Gallery-esq TV features a stunning design that is characterized by thin bezels and a stylish border that is reminiscent of a picture frame.

Design aside, the LG G1 OLED TV also offers a Dolby Atmos sound system, smart functionality, and a powerful Alpha 9 Gen 4 processor that does a superb job of upscaling and motion handling. Gamers will also be happy to hear that this HDMI 2.1 TV also offers a 4K 120Hz panel, VRR (variable refresh rate) support, and ALLM (auto low latency mode) – a feature that automatically enables the TV’s game mode once a console is in use.
