NBA2K21 has finally arrived and sets to be another storied edition in the 2K legacy. with updated graphics and player scans, new improvements to MyTeam, updated MyCareer storylines, and with the inclusion of the WNBA everything seems to be on the right track.
Now they’ve patched the awful shooting mechanics, everything seems to be leading towards a beautiful day in the neighbourhood for NBA2K21. We are going to be focusing on the SG position for today’s build for MyCareer mode.
The sharpshooting facilitator is pretty good for either guard position but in this category we are going to be building them as a Shooting Guard.
We are taking this build to focus on shooting and playmaking, taking defense out of the equation which we can make up for later on with the physical profile and skill breakdown.
For the pie chart selector we chose to focus on the shooting aspect and leave the rest in their even sections. Enabling us to fully gather a good edge on jump shots but not leaving us too lacking in the other areas completely.
From a physicality perspective, we want the strongest profile that can merge and offer a bit of speed, so aim for the pie chart with a good variety across Agility, Strength, and Vertical.
We’re creating a Houston or McCollum model here so we want to focus on pure shooting. Aim to hit above 85 in all shooting categories and save a few for playmaking and defense as we still want to be able to defend and assist if we are required. You should end up with around 30 Badges spread out across the different sections.
