With Black Friday 2021 hitting earlier and earlier every year, brands have begun to roll out some of the best deals that you are able to find all year round, with Amazon being one of, if not the biggest retailer in the world that will aggressively cut their prices in order to undercut the offers from all other retailers. With Amazon Black Friday discounts, Jeff Bezos is once again about to go to space with the amount of money that Amazon generates over the Black Friday period.
Last year, it was reported by CNBC that profits soared up to $4.8 Billion USD across the Black Friday shopping season. For some context, Disney bought the Star Wars license from George Lucas for $4.05 billion in 2012.

This disgustingly large amount of cash is of course built upon the robust systems that Amazon has delivered in the form of how they deliver their deals, in addition to their ability to essentially monopolize the online retail market by repeatedly undercutting their competitors, and offering speedy shipping as a part of Amazon Prime. While there are indeed other shopping events over the course of the year, Amazon Black Friday 2021 discounts are the largest of them all, with Amazon reporting a 60% increase year on year from the years 2019 to 2020.
Of course, this is good news for those of you who are wanting to fill your boots over the course of the Black Friday period, so you’re actually able to still save money on almost everything and anything under the sun over the next few weeks.
Amazon Black Friday 2021 discounts employ a strategy of compiling bulk brand-based discounts live for a period of time and mixing them in with ‘Lightning deals’ which are only available for a short period of time and stock allocated to the deal. These are often the most desirable Amazon Black Friday deals, so they run out quickly, with Amazon Black Friday discounts also having a rolling schedule as to what is about to be imminently discounted. This creates urgency for a customer to convert on any particular deal, meaning that it’s an effective marketing tool in getting people to convert into sales, while also undercutting the competition for a time on items that might otherwise not see a discount for the rest of the year, or are in high demand that other retailers wouldn’t dare touch.
