The AMD Ryzen 5 7500F is a new 6-core CPU from AMD, you might not know that because AMD hasn’t exactly made a big deal of its announcement just yet. This CPU serves to add more availability to operate on a budget with AMD. However, the most important question remains, is the Ryzen 5 7500F coming to the US?

If you want to know more about the Ryzen 5 7500F, we have the perfect article for you to question why the 7500F exists.

Is the Ryzen 5 7500F coming to the US?

According to this article by Videocardz, AMD plans to sell the 7500F exclusively in China, making a US release unlikely. Maybe AMD feels that the US market is well represented by the current hardware available.

Or maybe AMD didn’t see a point in shipping and storing the 7500F CPUs overseas, they’re probably just Ryzen 5 7600X CCDs that didn’t make the cut, anyway. It’s likely that the Ryzen 5 7500F only exists to cut down on E-waste – which is a very good thing, don’t get us wrong.

Ryzen 5 7500F specs

The Ryzen 5 7500F is the initial Ryzen processor designed for the new AM5 socket and lacks integrated graphics, explains Videocardz. Previous Ryzen 7000 processors all supported RDNA2 graphics because of the integrated functionality of the I/O die.

Although the integrated graphics in the earlier processors weren’t particularly robust, with just 2 Compute Units, they could still be helpful during system setup when a separate GPU is not yet present. The RDNA2-based iGPU was also perfectly capable of completing basic tasks.

.The Ryzen 7000F series requires a dedicated GPU, but most users probably want to install a dedicated GPU regardless, since these Ryzen processors mostly attribute themselves to gaming performance.

The 6-core Ryzen 5 7500F shares similar specifications with the Ryzen 5 7600, but reportedly runs at a clock speed 100 MHz slower and lacks a built-in GPU. According to motherboard manufacturers, these CPUs should still operate within a 65W TDP.
