The Ryzen 9000 series was released pretty recently, with the 9800X3D being the crowning jewel. If only there was any availability for that, this would be a different article. Thankfully, the rest of the 9000 series is plentiful, leaving them ripe for a tasty Black Friday discount. This isn’t just any old discount; it’s the lowest these CPUs have ever been (in their admittedly short life). The theory of why AMD’s newest CPU lineup is relatively heavily discounted for its age is interesting.
The Ryzen 9000 series (as you may have heard) launched to underwhelming reviews and slaughtered the expectations of many. The odds were stacked against AMD at launch, so the CPUs didn’t sell very well, and I know that these “issues” make them sound like bad products, but they aren’t at all; quite the opposite, actually, they’re very good. Back to the theory, AMD will likely look to counteract the less-than-desirable launch figures with an enticing Black Friday sale. The launch of the 9000 series saw a lot of gamers holding out for the 9800X3D, which is why so many are fighting to get their hands on this CPU (and for good reason, it’s fantastic).
