No controllers necessary

Do I need an Apple Mac to power the Apple Vision Pro?
No, not at all, the Apple Vision Pro is a stand-alone device that can last for around 2 hours on a single charge, you do have a wire connecting to an external battery pack as standard. This may seem like a trade-off but it allows you to have quick access to a top-of-the-line AR experience regardless of location.
