According to a potential leak, the 14600KF is 5.5% faster than the 13600K, the previous generation of Intel CPU. These results show a lot of promise to those eagerly awaiting the Raptor Lake refresh so it may breathe new life into their systems.

The 14th generation flagship was previously leaked, and we observed some fundamental changes to the i7-14700k, take a look for yourself if you’re interested.

Intel’s i5-14600KF is 5.5% faster than the i5-13600K

It seems that the 14th generation Raptor Lake refresh has already been shipped to OEM’s and reviewers, this is evident by the results of benchmarks appearing online, just months before Intel is predicted to lift the veil on the 14th gen and release it to the public.

VideoCardz reports on the Geekbench benchmark posting containing the 14600KF within it, which seems to shed some light on the specifications of the CPU, and vaguely its performance.

The test bench seems to consist of an ASUS Z790 motherboard combined with 32GB of DDR5-6000 RAM, accompanied by Intel’s new 14-core CPU, the Core i5-14600KF.

The naming of the SKU implies the lack of integrated graphics capability, but this will not affect the testing process. The Geekbench results reveal the clock speeds, verifying the previously rumored 5.3 GHz frequency.

In the evaluation conducted using the updated Geekbench 6.1 version, the CPU attains a single-core score of 2794 points and a multi-core score of 17190 points. This showcases a 5.5% advancement in single-core capability and a notable 17.2% boost in multi-core performance when compared to the Core i5-13600K. This is a massive increase in performance, assuming the power consumption isn’t too high.

We expect to see Intel reveal all in September, as this is when the Intel Innovation event is set to take place. We’re excited about the real possibility of a 14th gen unveiling at the very least. but for now, this is all we have to go on. We’ll update you as soon as we know more.
