This year’s RazerCon has played host to some exciting new peripherals and accessories today, with the brand officially unveiling the Razer Freyja Haptic Gaming cushion and Razer Kraken V4 Pro headset.
Razer’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan, hosted this year’s RazerCon event, showcasing another milestone in immersive gaming for the brand. The event showcased a suite of transformative products that offer up the next steps in gaming immersion, equipped with the brand’s latest Sensa HD Haptics technology.
The Razer Kraken V4 Pro and Razer Freyja HD Haptic cushion were the headliners in today’s showcase – both utilizing Razer’s Sensa HD Haptic technology to allow gamers to not only see and hear the game but also feel it too. Alongside the new haptic headset and gaming cushion, Razer also launched a new laptop cooling accessory, alongside Razer’s new Synapse 4 peripheral suite.
All products unveiled at the event launch in the US and Europe on the 28th of September, 2024.
Razer unveil Freyja HD Haptic Gaming cushion
The headliner in today’s showcase was the Freyja HD Haptic gaming cushion, powered by Razer’s Sensa HD Haptic technology. The product is set to deliver ground-breaking levels of gaming immersion thanks to 6 built-in motors that modulate and vibrate during gameplay.
The gaming cusion will feature multi-directional haptics that power six advanced haptic motor actuators, allowing the cushion to accurately depict where sound is coming from.
The cushion isn’t just for gamers though, as the Haptic technology will work seamlessly with any entertainment that offers audio. Whether you are watching a movie, TV show, or live concert, the Freyja Gaming cushion will offer an immersive experience.
Razer’s new Kraken V4 Pro headset hits shelves
Alongside the Freyja gaming cushion, Razer’s Min-Liang Tan also launched the latest Kraken V4 Pro headset, also powered by HD Haptic technology.
The headset sports a refined Razer aesthetic that is characterized by high-end materials and Razer branding. It comes with a new OLED Control Hub that allows users to customize their experience – alongside Razer’s Synapse 4 – to their exact needs.
The Razer Kraken V4 Pro offers up 4 modes of connectivity (Wireless, Bluetooth, 3.5mm, or USB) for connecting the headset to 3 devices simultaneously – whether that be your phone, laptop, PC, console, or handheld.
Users will enjoy superior sound quality thanks to the Kraken’s TriForce Bio-Cellulose 40 mm drivers and THX spatial audio.
Best of all, the Kraken V4 Pro pairs seamlessly with the Freyja gaming cushion to provide a fully immersive experience.
Availability for both products will be from the 28th of September, 2024. Pricing for the Freyja will run from $299, whereas the Kraken V4 Pro will retail for $399.
