We may have been melting in one hell of a heatwave here in the UK, but that hasn’t slowed us down! As always, we’re here to bring you this week’s biggest news stories from across the world of gaming.

We’re always excited when a PS4 exclusive finally makes its way onto PC, less so when the PC version comes to the market riddled with bugs. Sadly, that’s what happened with the recent Horizon Zero Dawn PC port. Frequent crashes, freezing cutscenes, and a whole host of other visual glitches have definitely meant this game has gotten off to a rocky start. Let’s hope they get fixed soon, or we can’t see it having the same kind of success on PC than it did on PS4.

As has happened with many great games, Forza Horizon 3 is about to be delisted, which means you won’t be able to buy it ever again. You still have some time to sweep in and grab it before the September 28th deadline, so be quick if you don’t want to miss out. Good news though, if you snag it soon, you can play it on both PC and Xbox with Microsoft’s Play Anywhere scheme.

In what’s become something of a regular feature for our weekly updates, we had news of two more anticipated game titles that are suffering delays. This week it was the turn of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and Halo Infinite. Both titles have been delayed until 2021 which means we’ll have quite the wait until we get our hands on these. With the upcoming next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X releases getting closer and closer, a lot of gamers are glad to hear about the plans most games have to offer a free upgrade to these consoles. Unfortunately, this won’t be the case for a lot of Control players. It was revealed this week that they were releasing an “Ultimate Edition” that would release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Owners of this new edition on consoles will be able to grab a digital upgrade for the next-gen consoles, but those who already bought the standard version won’t. Not cool, guys.

Intel officially announced this week that they would be releasing their first discrete GPU in 2021 – aimed at the gaming market. The Xe-HPG is optimized for gaming and will be able to handle ray-tracing for the next-generation of games.
