The release of GPT-4 is was eagerly anticipated by many in the AI and tech communities. Its predecessor, GPT-3, was hailed as a major breakthrough in language modeling and natural language processing, and GPT-4 is expected to push the boundaries even further.
Will we see a ChatGPT 4?
GPT 4 is a significant upgrade from GPT-3.5, which currently powers ChatGPT and other text-based AI technologies. With GPT-4’s multimodal capabilities, we could see a whole new level of AI-generated content, including video production and other types of media.
But it’s not just about the output capabilities of GPT-4; it’s also about how it will be leveraged by Microsoft and OpenAI. While we don’t know for sure, it’s possible that GPT-4 will be primarily used for research purposes initially, with wider integration into ChatGPT and other platforms coming later.
The integration seems logical, certainly for the paid-for premium versions of ChatGPT to start with but there is nothing official on this.
