Turtle Rock Studios has revealed a brand-new Back 4 Blood Campaign trailer. The new Back 4 Blood campaign trailer shows off some more of the game’s story ahead of the Back 4 Blood launch on October 12.
Back 4 Blood Campaign Trailer
The Back 4 Blood Campaign trailer featured some new story elements that we never got to see during the Back 4 Blood Beta. During the beta, we got the first act beginning in the flat, with us eventually leading to the Ferry, then into a mining entrance fighting off hordes of Ridden before eventually bailing out through a military humvee.
It is safe to say the Back 4 Blood campaign is all over the place. However, the recent Back 4 Blood Campaign trailer shows off a bit more to the story. The gameplay trailer shows off the story being a virus that broke out. Politics is blamed for the cover-up, but by the time the public figured out what was going on, it was too late and the population had quickly become Ridden.
During the gameplay trailer, we got to see more of the Back 4 Blood characters, such as Mother and Holly featured in the game’s cinematic plot points. Furthermore, we got more insight into why Fort Hope exists, along with a hard-ass military leader that we have yet to meet in-game. Perhaps that is the next character that will be released for Back 4 Blood?
Moreso, we got another glimpse at the campaign maps that we can see. Throughout the Back 4 Blood gameplay trailer, we got to see more maps. One map appears to be a high school, fitted with an assembly hall and a school gymnasium (I think), along with more outdoor cityscape spots and new military escape tools like helicopter airlifts out of uncomfortable Ridden hotspots.
Finally, it’s worth mentioning it appears the Ogre is not the only Ridden boss. The final part of the trailer had a new big baddie coming out from the ground. It certainly is n Ogre, so we have even more in store for us to see.
