Update – 09/09/2021 – Call Of Duty Vanguard Beta is starting to appear for PlayStation players to pre-load and get themselves ready for the beta weekend!
The Call Of Duty Vanguard Beta is just around the corner and the official Beta schedule has now been released. The Open Beta for Vanguard has been known about since the leaks first starting emerging but it is good to have some official dates to go along with those rumors. The best part is it doesn’t look as though it is just gamers who pre-ordered the game that will be getting access to the beta either, with some free beta drops coming this weekend at the CoD Championships too.
We are going to be looking through the Beta schedule, taking a look at how you can get yourself a Beta code, and how to redeem your beta code when the time comes for the event.
Call Of Duty Vanguard Beta Code & How To Get One
Ever since the early leaks, we knew there was going to be early access to the Vanguard Beta with pre orders of the game. If you are a CoD fan and haven’t already got yourself a copy, this is the easiest and most reliable way to get access to the Beta when it goes live. The Open Beta will be available to download on your chosen platforms store page and the dates for the different platforms have now been released which you can see below.
The Beta is to be available on Playstation first, which includes both the PS5 and PS4, however, this is for pre order customers only. The second wave of Beta access in the following week opens it up to everyone including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players.
PlayStation (pre-order only): September 10 – 13
PlayStation Open Beta: September 16 – 20
Xbox & PC (pre-order only): September 16 – 17
Xbox & PC Open Beta: September 18 – 20
How Big Will the Vanguard Open Beta Be?
We have no solid information on this just yet but the rumors state it is going to be somewhere between 25GB and 50GB, so you are going to need quite a bit of room. As the Alpha goes live at the end of this week, there may be more information around the file sie as we get closer.
Call Of Duty Vanguard Beta Redeem Code – How Do You Redeem Your Code?
Whether you have already purchased your copy of Vanguard or plan to try your luck getting a free Beta code drop, you are going to want to know how to redeem the beta code when it goes live.
The Beta redeem is actually very straightforward and all you need to do is go to callofduty.com/betaredeem . Once on the redeem page, you need to enter your beta code, select your chosen platform, select your region, and hit ‘Submit‘.
Don’t forget, depending on your platform you are going to have to wait to play the Call Of Duty Vanguard, with Playstation users getting first dibs.
