GIGABYTE, MSI, And ASUS Announce GeForce GTX 1650 G6 GPUs With GDDR6

GIGABYTE, MSI, and ASUS have announced a refresh to their GeForce GTX 1650 series GPUs, swapping out GDDR5 for GDDR6 memory modules.

MSI’s new GeForce GTX 1650 D6 line is said to provide higher core and memory clock speeds for ‘increased performance in games.’ The new series brings with new additions to MSI’s GAMING, VENTUS, AERO, and LP lines with no less than eight new cards, four overclocked, four at stock speeds.

The GeForce GTX 1650 D6 Gaming offer 896 cores, 56 TMUs, 32 ROPs, a base clock speed of 1410 MHz, a boost clock speed of 1710 MHz for the OC edition, 1620 MHz for the standard version, 4 GB of GDDR6 clocked at 12 GBps and with a memory bandwidth of 128 GB/s.

The Geforce GTX 1650 D6 VENTUS XS matches those specs, but with a slower boost speed at 1620 MHz OC/1590 MHz standard. The GeForce GTX 1650 D6 AERO ITX is geared towards small form factor builds with the same specifications with a boost of 1620 MHz OC/1590 MHz standard edition. Finally, we have the low profile GeForce GTX 1650 D6 LP with similar specifications

ASUS is similarly bolstering its ROG STRIX, TUF Gaming, and Phoenix series with GGDR6 GeForce GTX 1650 D6 cards. ASUS’ unique angle is that it fits the GPU fans with ‘space-grade lubricant.’

The ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 will be available in three different models, all using DirectCU II heat pipes and a pair of Axial-tech fans. The specifications match those of the MSI cards, except that the overclocked edition ups the game clock speed to 1815MHz and the boost clock speed to 1845 MHz for the overclocked edition.

The TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 comes in two versions, overclocked and standard. The OC edition offers a game clock speed of 1650 MHz and an OC boost of 1680 MHz, while the standard version has a base clock speed of 1590 MHz, jumping to a boost clock speed of 1620 MHz.

The last new card from ASUS is the Phoenix GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR6 with two models. The overclocked GPU pushes the game clock to 1605 MHz, and the boost to 1635 MHz. The standard version clock speeds match those of the TUF Gaming series. ASUS says the cards will ship in the coming weeks.

Wrapping up the selection of GeForce GTX 1650 G6 GPUs is GIGABYTE’s new AORUS EAGLE line. GIGABYTE has yet to unveil the full specifications, but the tweet announcing the news suggests we are looking at three new models, one of which will be a 170mm board length compact model.
