Is Halo Infinite free to play? Guess what, the multiplayer will not only be a F2P game but it will also feature crossplay! Halo Infinite’s free to play nature was announced early, leaving just the campaign as the paid-for segment and this makes a lot of sense when you step back and look at what’s popular to play right now. Games like CS:GO, Fortnite, Valorant, Call Of Duty Warzone, and a few others, are all free to play, with the various titles jostling for player counts.

Microsoft announced that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will run at 120 FPS on Xbox Series X, and that is pretty impressive for a console game.

What Do You Get With Halo Infinite’s Free To Play Multiplayer?

Of course, we are going to get access to the multiplayer action of our dreams but what else?

Game Modes

In this free shooter, you get to play Arena and Big Team Battle but there are likely to be all the great game modes fans love announced too at some stage.

Spartan Customization

You can create a Spartan to your own unique design, with this new and expansive customization system. It wouldn’t surprise me to see developers monetize this area slightly with microtransactions but we will have to wait and see.

Halo Infinite Release Date

What and how can I play Halo Infinite multiplayer? Well, the game is coming Holiday 2021, which means around November probably but we are certain it is coming at the back end of this year. As soon as it does, gamers are going to be able to download the multiplayer side of the game without purchasing anything/ entering any card details. We are not sure if there are going to be some early access bonuses for those that buy premium bundles of Halo Infinite but we are keeping our eyes out.

Halo Infinite Recommended System Requirements

Final Word

We all love a freebie but Halo Infinite multiplayer being free to play is huge news and I for one cannot wait to start hopping about with the sword. Halo Infinite may release more closed beta dates in the near future but this is all speculation and the game looked and felt pretty solid anyway so it may not be needed. OF course, they are going to want to fully test the dedicated servers, maybe even put a bit of strain on them in preparation for launch.
