That’s right, folks, Razer has announced a new line of mechanical gaming keyboards, the DeathStalker V2, and they look to be a strong contender for your next low-profile board.
Razer has been a stalwart of the gaming peripheral industry for over 20 years at this point, since the release of their first gaming mouse, the Razer Boomslang in 1998. Now they’ve hit the market with some new peripherals once again, the Razer DeathStalker V2 keyboards.
The Razer DeathStalker V2 will come in three variants, the normal DeathStalker, the Pro, and Pro Tenkeyless.

Razer DeathStalker V2 low-profile key Switch specs
At present, you can get the Razer DeathStalker V2 line of keyboards with your choice of two types of switches, Purple (tactile & clicky) or Red (linear & quiet).
We’d prefer a silent tactile option, but given that Razer only equips its boards with their own switches, we have very little say in the matter. But they might add other variants down the line so those of you partial to the brown-style switch shouldn’t lose hope just yet.
This is the first product available with Razer’s all-new low-profile mechanical key switches. They are optical. Meaning that the keystroke is registered via a later being block, leading to faster actuation than traditional methods. The specs and force curves can be found below.
