We’ve spotted that Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is currently free to play for a limited time, with a 90% discount currently available as well as big DLC price cuts too. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI now 90% off on Steam
Head on over to the Steam Store page and you’ll find that the popular 4X strategy game, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, is now 90% off. Against the usual $59.99 price tag, that means you’ll pay just $5.99. For those based in the UK, this translates to £49.99 and £4.99 respectively. Another thing to consider is that the entire Civ VI Anthology bundle that includes the game’s long list of DLC on top is also enjoying a 88% discount.
This special promotion on Steam will be available until March 7, so you have just under a couple of weeks to make the most of it. The Platinum Edition bundle is also 91% off and includes a bunch of DLC too.
Looking back to the price history in the US below, we can see that this game has been discounted a ton in the past couple of years. Consistent price slashes means that there’s no need to pay full price and now you can even try it before you buy for a limited time.
How long does Sid Meier’s Civilization VI free to play last?
Like we mentioned, the game is available for absolutely free this weekend. When we spotted it, we can see that the promotion lasts for the next three days, which means it will be free to play until February 26. This gives you some time to enjoy the game and figure out if you want to spend the extra 6 dollars to add it to your library for good.
You may even opt to buy the full bundle for the best value for money. Considering how much it has gone on sale in the past though, we suspect that it won’t be too long until it’s discounted yet again. It’s even verified as playable on Steam Deck if you’re interested.
