How to connect AirPods to Windows 11 & Windows 10?

The process of connecting AirPods to Windows 11 or Windows 10 is quite similar. Follow these steps to see how it works:

Put your AirPods into the pairing mode

Before you connect your AirPods to Windows, make sure they are at least 20% charged. Now put them in their charging case and open the case’s lid. With the lid open, press and hold the setup button on the back of the charging case.

Hold down the button until a white light flashes. This indicates that your AirPods are now in pairing mode.

Navigate to Bluetooth settings on your PC

  • For Windows 11, go to the Start Menu and navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
  • For Windows 10, go to the Start Menu and navigate to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & Devices.

Add AirPods as a new Bluetooth device

On Windows 11, click on the Add Bluetooth button in the Devices row. On Windows 10, click on Add Bluetooth to other devices option.

Finish connecting

You will see a list of reachable Bluetooth devices in this window. Select your AirPods from the list. A pop-up message indicating that your device is ready to use will appear. Select “Done” and you are good to go.
