Nvidia’s DLSS 2.0 is a wonderous technology, and whilst rumors abound of DLSS 2.2 on the horizon, we’re mostly excited to see the existing DLSS 2.0 wheeled out across an ever-increasing number of games. Below you can find a full list of all the games which support DLSS 2.0 at the present time, and those yet to release which will also support the technology.

What Is DLSS 2.0?

DLSS (aka Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a technology developed by Nvidia which is limited to their RTX series cards. When DLSS 1.0 was initially released several years prior it was fairly disappointing, DLSS 2.0 however is a seemingly magical technology in those games that support it.

DLSS uses artificial intelligence (through the Tensor Core AI processors inside the GPU) to bypass some of the lengthy rendering processes for higher resolution images in gaming, meaning that the graphics card can produce high-resolution output without suffering such a big hit in FPS performance. As a result, the difference is most notable when playing games at 4K.

Above you can see a variety of games benchmarked by Nvidia on various GeForce GPUs at 4K to see the comparable performance in FPS with DLSS 2.0 turned on and off. In addition to the above, Rainbow Six: Siege has also recently been shown to have particularly impressive FPS uplift with DLSS turned on.

Nvidia DLSS vs AMD FSR

DLSS is not the only example of this so-called ‘upscaling’ technology, but it is the most powerful. AMD’s FSR technology aims to compete somewhat with DLSS, but it uses a different methodology that does not involve AI to achieve a comparable result, albeit not as impressive. Whereas AMD’s FSR technology is cross-platform however, meaning even gamers who don’t use AMD hardware can use it, Nvidia’s DLSS is limited to its own graphics cards.
