How to screenshot on VIVE XR Elite?
Your VIVE XR Elite allows you to record videos and take screenshots of your display on the headset. This way, you can share what you are viewing with your friends. You can even record your screen in the passthrough mode in XR Elite.
So how does it work? Well, there are actually two methods to capture your screen on VIVE XR Elite.
Method 1: Take a screenshot
To take a screenshot on your VIVE XR Elite, press and hold the volume down and headset button simultaneously until it takes a screenshot.
Alternatively, you can also press the trigger buttons and the VIVE button on your right controller simultaneously to take a screenshot.
Method 2: Record your screen
To record your XR Elite screen, press the volume up and headset buttons simultaneously. This will start the recording. To stop it, press these two buttons again.
Alternatively, you can also press the grip and VIVE buttons on your controller simultaneously to start the recording. Press these buttons again to stop it.
Note: If you want to enable screenshots and screen recording in the passthrough mode, go to the VR headset’s Settings > Advanced > Camera and then enable “Allow passthrough recording and casting”.
