CES 2020 Day Three Highlights: Lenovo, Alienware, And MSI

We’re halfway through the madness that is CES, and we’ve already seen so many amazing new products and reveals. Day three was filled with some incredibly exciting tech in the form of the world’s first foldable laptop, a PC with a dragon inside, and a chair with wings. So, without further ado, let’s dive into our highlights from day three of CES 2020.

Lenovo X1 Fold

After seeing it announced during the day one keynote speeches, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on the new foldable laptop from Lenovo. A world first, it comes with a sleek design, great user interface, and endless possibilities.

Whether you’re looking to use this as an everyday laptop, for business, or as a tablet-laptop hybrid, we were really impressed.

Lenovo Legion

We also got to take a closer look at the new Legion products from Lenovo. First up was Lenovo’s lightest and thinnest gaming laptop yet – the Legion Y740S. This is a stylish new laptop that comes with three modes, one for gaming, one for entertainment, and one for everyday use. To make this even more impressive, they then paired this with their first external GPU, the Lenovo Legion BoostStation.

Then we got to see their new gaming monitors up close including both the Legion Y25-25 24.5 inch gaming monitor made in conjunction with Team Liquid, and the G32qc 32-inch curved monitor.

Finally, they showcased their new ambidextrous gaming mouse. The Lenovo Legion M600 Wireless Gaming mouse comes with increased connectivity as well as a wired option to make sure you never miss a shot while gaming.

Alienware Second Screen

For those of us who like to monitor our PC’s performance – especially when it comes to the CPU, GPU, and DRAM. Alienware’s Second Screen allows you to do this without taking up real estate on your monitor by utilizing your smartphone display instead.

There were also features still in development including RGB lightning adjustments, overclocking, and in-game integrations.

Concept UFO

Yet another new mobile gaming product was brought to us by Alienware and that was Concept UFO. Slightly larger than a Nintendo Switch, this new stage in portable gaming allows you to bring your Steam library with you wherever you go. The controllers are detachable and dockable meaning you can play either on to go or at home for a full gaming experience.

MSI MEG Aegis Ti5

MSI have had an incredible year at CES 2020, winning awards left, right, and center. One of these awards was for their new PC, the MSI MEG Aegis Ti5. This PC will definitely split opinion when it comes to it’s design – it’s definitely individual, but the interface is incredible.

With an easy to use spin wheel on the front, you can adjust the RGB lightning on the PC itself, as well as your keyboard, mouse, and monitor, you can check your performance and temperatures, and you can even open your favorite games with just a click.

Bonus mention to the animated dragon that appears on the click wheel, as well as the mini display on the bottom of the monitor.

MSI Stealth And Raider Gaming Laptops

MSI also brought new versions of their Stealth and Raider gaming laptops. Both of these come with a mind-blowing 300hz refresh rate and some serious battery power behind them to keep them running.

The Stealth lives up to its name with a sleek, black design that is both unassuming and stylish at the same time. The Raider, on the other hand, comes with a cool RGB light strip along the bottom edge to really make it look like the gaming laptop we all need.
