Last week we saw a few Gigabyte graphics cards listed by some retailers in Australia and Vietnam. Now Gigabyte has filed its RTX 4090 models with the EEC.

Just like AFOX a few months ago, registering with the Eurasian Economic Commission is responsible for business decisions in the union. Allowing them to carry out business in the area and sell their products.

Although the card has yet to be announced we do expect it to still be coming this year. Nvidia is teasing Project Beyond and we do expect to hear something in the GTC talk next week.

But this also may suggest that the initial release will only be of the flagship model. With no other 4080 or 4070 leaks out yet they could be further delayed.

From the filed models we get a list of 11 different models, five of which are AORUS ones. The featured cards are as follows.

  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE (GV-N4090AORUSX W-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME WATERBLOCK (GV-N4090AORUSX WB-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS XTREME (GV-N4090AORUS X-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS MASTER (GV-N4090AORUS M-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS ELITE (GV-N4090AORUS E-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC (GV-N4090GAMING OC-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING (GV-N4090GAMING-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 EAGLE OC (GV-N4090EAGLE OC-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 EAGLE (GV-N4090EAGLE-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 WINDFORCE 3X OC (GV-N4090WF3OC-24GD)
  • Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 WINDFORCE 3X (GV-N4090WF3-24GD)

There only seems to be one AIO-cooled card, the Waterforce, and the custom loop version with the Waterblock. Meaning the rest are likely to be air cooled.

However, this does mean all the other options will be chunky cards. With a likely 3-4 slots like the 3090 Ti, or Noctua RTX 3080.

With such a high TDP there is a lot of heat to give off and a lot of energy to consume so there are plenty of other considerations. You may want to consider new PSUs with the report of dangerous adapters.
