RazerStore Chooses London for its New European Branch

Razer, the ever-popular and recognizable gaming brand, has recently announced the opening of its brand new RazerStore front in London, the first of its kind to open its doors within Europe.

The opening of the RazerStore is set to be a highlight on any gamers calendar, with Razer set to open its doors for business at 11 am, following an opening ceremony that will take place at 10:30.

Located on Charing Cross Road, the new store will be about 3,700 square feet in size and will span across two floors to display their entire product range, including their signature mice, keyboards, headsets, laptops, and more. You can bet that Razer will also be showcasing the new Razer Phone 2, tipped as the best way to gain the advantage in mobile gaming.

What Can You Expect At The Opening Of The New RazerStore?

The new RazerStore is set to be the biggest of its kind, larger than even the Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Taipei City, or the San Francisco stores, with the opening day a showcase of what gamers can expect from the new brick and mortar gaming emporium.

The official queue opens at 7 am, with an opening ceremony at 10:30, followed by the doors opening for the first time at 11.

Visitors will also be able to meet some of their favorite gaming celebrities, with SYNDICATE, PYROCYNICAL, and Hat Films attending the launch at 2 pm to take photographs, sign merch, and hand out prizes to the crowd in attendance – and that’s not all.

Visitors will also get the chance to show off their gaming skills on the day, with the London RazerStore hosting a Razer Face-Off Featuring Fortnite, a series of Fortnite mini-tournaments, taking place on the day between 5 pm to 8 pm. Winners of the tournament will even get some incredible prizes, with first-place being awarded the Nari Ultimate headset, with second place receiving the Huntsman Tournament Edition keyboard, and third place receiving the Razer Viper mouse.

Following Launch Day

The Razer London store opening day celebrations end at 8 pm with the stores closing – but that doesn’t mean you will miss out on all the fun if you can’t make launch day.

Day-to-day, there will be a massive playtest area where customers will be able to playtest all of the latest Razer products, with large screen monitors posted around the store to show various eSports events as well!

Not only that, but shoppers will also be able to attend weekly tournaments, gaming boot camps, and weekly tournaments all held on the lower floor of the store. What can customers expect to play on? Multiplayer console stations, a dedicated streaming booth, and even ten battlestations will be available for competitive gaming events, making the Razer store far more than just another computer parts shop, but a dedicated hub for the gaming community in the heart of London.

This makes the RazerStore more than just a shop to pop in to buy your peripherals. It looks like it will become a hub for the gaming community, based in London.

Christine Cherel, RazerStore’s global director, had this to say about the new London location: “With its rapidly expanding gaming scene, London is a key city for our expansion plans. The new RazerStore London will be the number one destination for gaming and technology fans looking to experience the latest Razer has to offer, in an environment created to showcase our products in an engaging, immersive way.”
