Nvidia has not yet confirmed a release date for the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB. In fact, it still has only given us the month of July for the secondary 4060 Ti variant to come out. But with it already being halfway through the month there is no official confirmation.

The only rumors we have ever seen are from Videocardz which had an embargo timeline for the new GPU. There it is expected to be on shelves on the 18th of July, even close to that date there is still little to no information on the card and so it still might change as to the actual date of release.

This is likely after the lukewarm reception of the RTX 4060 Ti received the first time. With a not-great value especially with limited memory bandwidth, it didn’t score well. The 16GB version costs $100 more for the extra VRAM and it is unlikely to show much more performance. As such we expect a similar reception, and then it has been suggested not many review samples are being seeded and unlikely many will go live on the embargo.

What time could the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB reviews go live?

If there are in fact any reviews available at the time of release, we would expect the embargo time to be the same as usual for any such hardware. Just like the RTX 4060 embargo, we would expect a 6 am PST/2 pm BST launch of the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB.

  • 6 AM Pacific Time (US)
  • 9 AM Eastern Time (US)
  • 2 PM BST (UK)
  • 3 PM CEST (Germany)
  • 11 PM AEST (Australia)

The embargo time is likely to stay true, but the release date may still yet change with such little information on it. Or it is likely Nvidia will be aiming for a quiet launch with the GPU expected to not be a popular choice for many gamers.
