Discounts on LG OLED TVs have been widespread in the past few weeks (and months) as the latest LG C4 is now available to pre order. But if you’re looking to save some serious cash, last-gen’s equivalent model is still definitely worth considering. The C3 is now even cheaper than the C2 for the largest 83-inch model in particular.
The LG C3 OLED offers a few improvements over the previous-gen C2, but it generally comes at a higher price. However, now that the 83″ C3 is 34% off, it is now just over $140 cheaper. We don’t expect this deal to be around forever, so make the most of it while you can!

At the time of writing, we found the 83″ LG C3 going for cheaper than the 83″ LG C2 on Amazon. Not every model is cheaper, but it if want the best home theater experience or plenty of screen to match any large living space, the largest 83-inch size is a popular choice.

As you can see, the C3 is now $143.55 less than the C2. The price of the C3 has understandably dropped off quite a lot since it first released, now dropping even further to make way for the C4 – a total of $1,803 off right now. All of these are some of the best OLED TVs on the market, with incremental improvements from generation to generation.

How much better is the C3?
When comparing the LG C2 vs LG C3, you’ll find that some of the key differences include a newer processor, slightly higher brightness levels, and better processing for legacy content. Another one of the biggest changes is the support for DTS audio in the C3, which is ideal for Blu-rays or DVDs. It is definitely a step up – not by a whole lot – but it obviously makes sense to get the C3 over the C2 while it’s cheaper.
As the newer model, the C3 will also receive support for a longer amount of time, with LG promising five years of support via webOS updates. Do note that the C2 is still cheaper for other sizes, and the pricing can change quite often, so the C2 is still relevant to this day in many ways.
