PlayStation’s new premium subscription service is already causing a bit of commotion, with PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers getting their rewards before the Extra and Premium users. A new leak today could have unveiled the new games coming to PS Plus Premium users, with Final Fantasy 7 and Assassin’s Creed the likely candidates.

The latest games making their way to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium platform may have been unveiled early this time around, with ResetEra leaker BlackBate revealing a slew of exciting new titles that could be making their way to the new PS Plus platform.

If true, the games will hit the PlayStation inventory on the 19th of July, 2022 – meaning we only have less than 2 weeks to wait.

According to the leaker, the following games look set to feature in the July PlayStation Premium update:

  • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag
  • Assassin’s Creed Unity
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered
  • Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
  • Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection
  • Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade + FF7R Episode Intermission
  • Saints Row IV: Re-Elected

Various editions of the fan-favourite action-adventure game could be in the next PS Plus Premium drop, with FF VII remake and Saints Row IV: Re-Elected also featuring.

If rumours are to be believed, these titles will hit the platform alongside the long-awaited Stray – a highly anticipated platformer that sees gamers take control of a cute ginger cat trying to find his family.

Additionally, it’s also worth mentioning that BlackBate says these are only “some of the games” – meaning more could also be on their way.

Sony has recently changed its PlayStation Plus service last month, offering up a new tier system that includes three core subscriptions – Essential, Extra, Premium.

The latter of the three is the most expensive, costing you around £13.49 a month and giving you access to new games monthly and an extensive library of other titles.
