We expect to see Pixel Watch 2 pre orders go live on October 4th during or following the event, as that is when the device will most likely be launched. Google have been showing off some renders in the build-up to the event, which starts at 10am EST.
This launch will be hand-in-hand with the new Google Pixel 8 smartphone, so fans have plenty to consider if they’re looking for a fresh upgrade this October.
How long will Google Pixel Watch 2 pre order last?
*UPDATE* As predicted, Google Pixel watch pre orders will last until the close of October 11th – one day before the release/delivery date of the product.
*OLD* One interesting question is related to how long pre orders will last. In other words, how long between the initial pre-order listings and the full release of the Pixel Watch 2. From what we’ve seen in past Google Pixel events is that the release date arrives around a week after the launch. Release dates tend to happen on a Thursday, which would mean a release date of October 12th. We saw the same last year when the original Google Watch released on October 13th, 2022.
We saw the same pattern with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. So for the Google Pixel Watch 2, we expect pre-orders to be live between October 4th – October 12th (possibly finishing at the close of the 11th), this time alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Now that we’ve explained just when (and how long) you can expect to see Pixel Watch 2 pre-orders, the next step is to actually figure out where they’ll be.
