A GPU with 12GB GDDR6X VRAM and 40TFLOPs of shader performance is the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti. Nvidia has made some significant assertions that this should be more than able to run virtually any game at 1440p.
A GPU with 12GB GDDR6X VRAM and 40TFLOPs of shader performance is the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti. There are rumors of a 2,130 MHz base clock and a 2,610 MHz boost clock for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
However, the sample from the Geekbench 5 submissions was increased to 2,730 MHz, indicating that it was either a bespoke model with a significant factory overclock or that the user deliberately overclocked it.
Six GeForce RTX 4070 Ti OpenCL listings with scores ranging from 207,528 to 219,504 points were discovered by Benchleaks. We used the highest score (219,504 points) for comparison purposes.
All six entries used the same test machine, which included a Core i7-12700 (Alder Lake) processor and 64GB of DDR4-3600 memory. Please be aware that OpenCL performance is not a reliable indicator of game performance. Consider the results with a grain of salt.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will, barring any alterations, include a complete AD104 die with 7,680 CUDA cores and 12GB of 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory spread across a 192-bit memory bus. Although this configuration won’t make it the fastest graphics card, if testing goes well, it may wind up on the list of best graphics cards.
But in the OpenCL test, the top-performing Radeon RX 7900 XT received a score of 201,195. The RDNA 3 outperformed the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti by 9.1%. The Ada graphics card, however, fell short of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti was defeated by 5.6% at the best score achieved so far by the Radeon RX 79000 XTX, which was 231,836 points.

How much better is the 7900 XT than the 4070 Ti?
When comparing the two on 3DMark, we see the pure graphical comparisons of the two to see how they fair against each other. In it we see the RX 7900 XT achieve a score of 25,741, whereas the RTX 4070 Ti gets 22,652. This means the 7900 XT is 14% better than the 4070 Ti.
How much faster is the 4070 Ti than the 7900 XT?
Looking at the clock speed or frequency of the GPUs we can compare based on that. In which the AMD varies slightly with varied core speeds. So it has a base clock of 1,500 MHz, a shader and game clock of 2,025 MHz, and a boost clock of up to 2,394 MHz. Whereas the Nvidia card has a base clock of 2,310 MHz and a boost of 2,610 MHz. Meaning the 4070 Ti is 54% and 9% faster than the 7900 XT.
