Upcoming Xbox One Games 2019

When we aren’t PC gaming, we like to put in some console time every now and again. Between PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One – we get through a lot of games. But we’re always looking ahead, waiting to add the next big thing to our gaming libraries. Below, we’ve highlighted the upcoming Xbox One games for 2019 and beyond that we’re most excited for. All the games are confirmed, even if they don’t yet have a release date.

Gears 5

Release date: September 10th, 2019

They may have shortened the name, but Gears 5 is still very much a Gears of War game. Expect big guys shooting their way through the game with powerful guns as normal. But we’ve also got what seems to be a much richer over-arching story to power us along. Switching the main character to Kait has enabled the game to change pace and take a step back from the heavily armored protagonists we’re used to.

Set between Episode III and Episode IV, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order shows a world where Jedi are being hunted down. Halo Infinite

Release date: TBC

The wait has been long, but we’re finally getting a new Halo game. Halo Infinite is the first Xbox Project Scarlett release we’ve heard of, so we don’t have a release date for it just yet. The popular first-person shooter is still in development with no word on when it will be ready, but we’ll be keeping an eye on it regardless.
