Acer unveiled a new Predator Orion 7000 series gaming desktop today, offering up an impressive mix of high-end specifications fronted by Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake processors. The new gaming desktop will deliver flagship power thanks to a careful mix of premium hardware – including RTX 3090 graphics, AIO liquid cooler, dual M.2 storage devices, and a brand new internal cooling solution to boot.

The new Predator Gaming PC will be the first to feature Intel’s fully unlocked 12th Gen Alder lake processor lineup. Furthermore, Acer is also pushing a fully upgradeable design that features up to 64GB of DDR5 4000MHz RAM.

The Predator Orion 7000 will become available in the US by Q2 2022, EMEA in Q1 2022, and china Q1 2022 – with a starting price of 2,199 Euro.

Predator Orion 7000 Specs

As far as specifications go, the Orion 7000 is definitely tailored towards the hardcore enthusiasts out there. It will feature the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors, up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 series GPU, and 64GB of DDR5-4000 RAM.

The Orion 7000 will also come in a stunning re-designed chassis featuring EMI-compliant tempered glass side panels for a sleek and quiet design. The front of the Predator now offers two new 140mm Predator FrostBlade 2.0 fans which are fully RGB customizable. An internal 120mm exhaust fan has also been fitted to provide excellent airflow throughout the case.

In addition to this, the Orion 7000 will also come equipped with a high-end AIO liquid CPU cooler and advanced airflow management system – labeled the ice tunnel – which helps direct the airflow over the GPU. All fans, including the AIO liquid cooler, offer up stunning RGB which can be fully customized within the PredatorSense software suite. Users will also be able to adjust fan curves and overclocking through the simple-to-use software package.

The new Predator will also feature Intel Killer 2.5G LAN, helping to give gamers a competitive edge by allowing the system to prioritize gaming traffic for a stronger, more stable connection. Intel WiFi 6E (AX211) and 2×2 MU-MIMO technology have also been equipped to the latest high-performance Predator offering.

Finally, plenty of ports are available for the Predator Orion 7000 series desktop, including the following inputs:

  • 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (front)
  • 2 x Audio jacks (front)
  • 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (rear)
  • 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C (rear)
  • 2 x USB 2.0 (rear)
  • 3 x audio jacks (rear)

You can also expect a dual M.2 storage solution (up to 2TB) and an assortment of mechanical drives that range from 1TB to 3TB in size.

Alongside this announcement, Acer also showcased a new Predator 55-inch Gaming Desk – equipped with a full-length mouse pad, cup holders, and headphone stand. This will only be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
