Cooler Master are well, masters of cooling. But, in recent years, their tried-and-true business has since been eclipsed by reasonably priced options from the likes of Corsair and Lian Li, but not they look to change it up by bringing out a brand-new flagship case, the HAF 700 EVO. HAF once reigned supreme among PC cases many years ago, and Cooler Master recently brought the branding back with their HAF 500 cases. HAF, meaning ‘High Air Flow’ promises the best possible cooling for your system, and the HAF 700 EVO looks to bring around just that to high-end users, with an eye-watering price tag, to boot.

Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO features

The HAF 700 EVO features an immense amount of cooling support, supporting radiator sizes of up to 480mm in various locations, and support for up to E-ATX motherboards. Though, the standard for this board can be a little bit murky. Regardless, stock, the case comes with five Sickleflow 120mm fans pre-installed, in addition to a dizzying amount of total fan support. By our estimations, you could probably fit 18 fans to the case, and that’s not including push-pull configurations for water cooling, which some will doubtless do.

There is ample support for custom water cooling, with mounts for radiators, pumps and reservoirs galore. This makes sense because of the dimensions of the case, which make it absolutely enormous. The case measures 566 x 279 x 540 mm, excluding protrusions on the case itself, and is built from Mesh, Steel and Plastic.

Top: Up to 2x 360mm radiators / 1x 420mm radiator
Side: Up to 1x 480mm radiator
Front: Up to 1x 420mm radiator
Bottom: Up to 1x 420mm radiator
Rear: Up to 1x 240mm radiator

There are two additional rotatable fan and radiator brackets, which are completely modular in design, and can be adjusted to accommodate for more complex builds.

It even has a built-in monitor

No, don’t get your hopes up too much, it’s not a monitor in the traditional sense, but one that evokes the same feelings as a display that you’d get on a high-end AIO, instead. Cooler Master states that Iris will also have support for a full range of customization. It does look slightly bolted-on however, which does raise a couple of concerns. On the design of the case, we have to admit that it looks a tad garish, and like a bit of an afterthought.

Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO price and availability

The Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO will be available soon for $499 USD. This is a frankly staggering amount of money for a case. But, on the other hand, you do not get many entries into this class of gigantic, feature-packed cases that promise a hefty amount of cooling and modding options that the community is bound to go crazy for. It’s a premium case, and it’s priced like that, too. We expect the Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO to land at retailers very soon.
