What are the CPU requirements for New World?

The developer-recommended processors for New World are the Intel Core i7-2600K and the AMD Ryzen 5 1400. Of course, processors equivalent to and better than the two of these also satisfy the developer-set requirement. 

The Core i7-2600K is a 4-core, 8-thread CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.8GHz. This processor is over a decade old. And, fun fact, it’s only compatible with DDR3 memory.

The Ryzen 5 1400 is also a 4-core, 8-thread processor, but it has a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz. 

As you can probably tell, both of these processors are very modest in specs. They allow you to experience New World at 1080p, 60FPS on medium graphics settings, but that’s about it. You may see lag drops in more action-packed scenarios, and that’s certainly undesirable.

The i5-13600K is the very best the Core i5 lineup has to offer at this time, and it’s an exceptional gaming processor that handles demanding titles like New World very well.
