How to Connect AirPods to Apple Watch?

  1. Check If You Have the Latest watchOS Version Installed

To pair your AirPods to Apple Watch, make sure that the latter has the latest version of watchOS installed. You can do so by going to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and selecting My Watch > General > Software Update. If there is an update waiting to be installed, select Download and Install.

  1. Go to Bluetooth On Your Apple Watch

On your Apple Watch, go to the Settings app and select Bluetooth.

  1. Connect Your AirPods

On the Bluetooth screen, tap on AirPods to connect.

Alternatively, you can also swipe up from the main watch face on your Apple Watch to go to the Control Center. There, select the Bluetooth pairing icon and then tap on your AirPods to connect.

Once your AirPods are connected, you will hear the default connection sound. You can also select whether to use the Transparency mode or Noise Cancellation on your Apple Watch screen.

Note: When you connect your AirPods to your iPhone, they are also simultaneously connected to your Apple Watch. So you don’t need to pair them with your Apple Watch separately. Your AirPods will automatically play sound from either device.
