If you’re looking for the RTX 3080 12GB hashrate, you’re in luck. We’ve got all the details of the 3080’s hashrate, and just how it all compares so you can make your crypto mining as efficient as possible, and choose the best graphics card to mine on. With the imminent arrival of the RTX 3080 12GB, many will be anxious to know just what kind of performance to expect. But, we’ve got all of the details for you right here, straight from the source so you don’t have to wait.
What is the hashrate of an RTX 3080 12GB?
The RTX 3080 12GB has a hashrate of 52 MH/s ETH hash rate, according to ASUS. Of course, this result means that the RTX 3080 12GB on the die has a lite hash rate, meaning that you can also consider this an RTX 3080 12GB LHR. While disappointing, it’s also been the default option for many Nvidia GPUs coming out since early 2021.
3080 vs 3080 LHR vs 3080 12gb vs 3080 Ti hashrate
GPU | Hashrate | Power Consumption |
RTX 3080 | 101.58 MH/s | 224W |
RTX 3080 LHR | 71.70 MH/s | 227W |
RTX 3080 Ti | 85.41 MH/s | 257W |
RTX 3080 12GB LHR | 52 MH/s | TBD |
We calculated the stock hashrates of the following graphics cards using the Dagger Hashimoto protocol, which is the ETH mining hashrate for the aforementioned cards. The RTX 3080 12GB LHR is the outlier in this scenario. However, the source for the hashrate on this card is sourced directly from a marketing deck that was sent to us from an AIB manufacturer ASUS, and therefore could be improved once the card gets into user’s hands. Additionally, we do not yet know the current power draw on the card as it has not yet been released. We will be sure to update this graph once we have the 3080 12GB in our hands to independently verify the stock hashrate and power consumption.
3080 12GB LHR hashrate: what to expect
It is likely that the 2080 12GB LHR sits pretty, in the middle of the 3080 LHR and the 3080 Ti models. Though ASUS purport a very low 52 MH/s, we think that this could actually be slightly higher once tuned, using the right programs and networks in a correct configuration. It’s worth keeping your eyes out on this. Though, the best 3080 to purchase (if you can find one) is a 3080 non-LHR, which will offer the best ETH mining hashrate out of the entire bunch.
