UPDATE: March 30, 2022 – We have reason to believe that the Ezio Auditore Fortnite skin will be available at the next Item Shop refresh, that’s at 4pm PST/7pm EST tonight, 12am GMT March 31, 2022. While this isn’t technically confirmed, earlier this month, an Ubisoft employee stated that the Ezio skin would be available to buy “later this month”, meaning tomorrow is the last chance for that to be true.
UPDATE: March 24, 2022 – If you’ve still not snapped up your Ezio Auditore Fortnite skin, there’ no better time than now. The offer still stands that, if you purchase Assassin’s Creed Valhalla through the Epic Games Store, you will get the Ezio Auditore skin for free in Fortnite. Well, today marks the start of the start of the Epic Games Store Spring Sale, and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is 60% off, so not only can you get the Fortnite skin, but you can get the game for less as well!
Loopers can now gear up as Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Auditore da Firenze in Fortnite for free… sort of.
Ahead of the release of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC Dawn of Ragnarok, Epic Games is giving Fortnite players a brand-new Ezio Auditore skin. However, you’ll need to purchase the DLC – or the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla base game – on Epic Games Store to redeem the Ezio Fortnite skin. So not only do you need to make a purchase the get the free Fortnite skin, but it’s also only available to Assassin’s Creed PC players.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze Fortnite Assassin’s Creed skin
The Ezio Auditore da Firenze skin bundle features the instantly-recognizable assassin in his white and red cloak, and also comes with an additional Pickaxe and built-in Emote. So far, there’s only been a sneak peek of what the skin will look like thanks to the above tweet from Epic Games Store themselves, but we’ll be sure to update you with a better look once it’s been released!
Will the Ezio Auditore Fortnite skin be available in the Item Shop?
Well, yes, actually. If you are unable to purchase Assassin’s Creed Valhalla through the Epic Games Store, or perhaps you already own it and aren’t looking to grab the new DLC, then you can still get the Ezio Auditore Fortnite skin later this month. Assassin’s Creed Community Developer Sebasteann confirmed via Twitter that the free Epic Games Store release is just a bonus for players already purchasing the game or DLC on PC.
