Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – Is it a Remake?
Getting right into answering your question, no Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not a remake. On the contrary, it’s a direct sequel to 2019’s Jedi: Fallen Order which was developed by the same team and was loved by hardcore and casual Star Wars fans alike for its unique take on the Star Wars formula.
The story itself is a continuation of Cal Kestis’ journey across the Star Wars galaxy as he evades the empire all the while trying to gather as many younglings as he can in a desperate attempt to rekindle the Jedi flame that was lost because of the devastating Order 66 all those years ago.
Fortunately, Cal won’t be alone in this because he’ll be joined by a cast of completely new characters in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Each character joins the fight against the dark side for their own personal reasons. None of them will be as important to you as BD-1, Cal’s trusty droid sidekick and someone who’s been at his side since the beginning.
Fans will also be glad to know that the game has been confirmed to be completely canon to the overall Star Wars lore. This means that you can look forward to seeing references to some of your favorite Star Wars characters.
The chances of them making an actual appearance might be slim because of canon reasons.
