The reviews are finally in for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and it’s looking great for the game. It’s easily one of the best games of the year, but probably not a Game of the Year contender, as the score drops just below the 90s.
Generally, a game has to be close to 100% or 10/10 to be able to compete in the Game of the Year awards and Jedi Survivor just missed the mark.

Below we have a review roundup and a general consensus of the game.
Reviews for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Metacritic has the game at an 87 with only one smaller site NME giving it a 100. Only one site give it above a 90 (93), two sites gave it a 90, and the rest are 80s and below. While that’s higher than average, it does not proclaim the superiority of the game itself.
Opencritic on the other hand is a lot more generous, giving Jedi: Survivor a 92% out of 100%. Some reviews were openly in the middle, like Eurogamer. Other critics, like IGN’s 9 out of 10, gave Star Wars Jedi: Survivor a good score and review.
This may seem pretty decisive, but from what we can see, the game isn’t bad at all. The reviews really just state that there are some things that could have been done better, and that the new features don’t really add up to much. The most notable scores are:
- Game Informer – 93
- Comicbook.com – 80
- PC Gamer – 80
- IGN – 9 / 10
- GamesRadar+ – 4.5 / 5
- GameSpot 8 / 10
These reviews fluctuate a lot. We’d recommend buying if you’re a fan of Star Wars or the Jedi series, but if you’re on the fence this might not be for you. It could be a good idea to wait until this game is out for a while and maybe at a discount.
The game isn’t bad, don’t get us wrong, but it doesn’t look like it’s got the ‘wow’ factor the previous game had.
